Staying on Rezdiffra
Support your liver health
In addition to continuing your Rezdiffra treatment, there are a few lifestyle modifications you can do to help support your liver health as well as your overall health. As always, talk to your liver specialist before making any changes to your routine.
Eat a healthy diet
Try to have a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, protein, and carbohydrates that’s low in fat, sugar, and salt. This can also help manage your cholesterol and keep your blood sugar in check.
Maintain a healthy weight
Small changes can make a big difference. Losing 3%-5% of your current weight may help reduce the fat buildup in your liver.
Exercise regularly
Any type of movement can help, even if you don’t lose weight. If you’re able to, try to do 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity a week, such as walking or cycling. Before starting any type of exercise, check with your liver specialist to make sure you choose activities that are safe and comfortable for you.
Be cautious with dietary supplements
Ask your liver specialist before taking any supplements or herbal remedies. Certain vitamins and minerals (like vitamin A, iron, and niacin) can hurt your liver. And just because a product is “natural” doesn’t mean it’s safe.
Limit alcohol use
While drinking alcohol doesn’t cause NASH, it may make NASH worse
Standing up for your liver health
When it comes to your liver health, being your own advocate is key. Don’t be afraid to ask your liver specialist any questions about starting on Rezdiffra or about NASH. It’s important to speak up for your well-being and the health of your liver. Download one of our guides to help get the most out of your conversation.
